It's been a few weeks since a post, but working as a medical photographer and trying to start a photography business on the side can really keep you busy. Not to mention finding time to ride bikes and spend time with your girlfriend.
The other week it was announced that there would be a directory of all the employees for the entire Eye Center. I didn't want to necessarily nominate myself to take the entire office's photos, but at the same time it would be an awesome opportunity for me. Plus it's been a while since I've done portrait work and could use a little practice. So it was decided that I would take them! This was my first job and Skyler was going to assist me. Usually it's the other way around. So I think we both were pretty excited for the switch.
The first few took me a while to get into the groove of, but I was really pleased on how it all came out in the end. So when the directory comes out I'll be sure to share!
But for now, I'll share my first photos I took with the SX-70. I choose not to look at any of the exposures until I had finished. So I wouldn't be worried about how did they come out or are they perfect. Instead just shooting Polaroid film again. Definitely a different experience for me but I enjoyed the anticipation of what would actually come out.
Next time I think I'll play with color (:
